Cleaning Policies

New Account Sign Up

Initial Cleans

Upon sign up, we require new units to receive a Deep Clean. The Deep Cleaning requirement may only be waived if our team inspects the unit and concludes it is not necessary.

Linen Program

Our Linen Program is designed to streamline your vacation rental operation. It is required for all vacation rental condo accounts, but optional for luxury properties that supply their own linens and handle laundry services.

Bookings & Booking Changes

All bookings and booking changes should be communicated through the appropriate unit’s Booking Log document. Our team will be notified of any changes, but for any changes at impact the current or next week, we do ask clients to send an email or text notification of the change to avoid any issues. We ask clients to maintain bookings for a minimum of 30 days out, many clients choose to immediately enter all bookings and changes as they come in.

Late-Notice Bookings & Changes

For New Bookings and Booking Changes that have departures or arrivals that fall within the current week, we require clients to receive confirmation from our operations team before committing to the guests. Our weekly staffing schedules are posted every Saturday, Late-Notice Bookings and Changes that come in after the fact will require us to make scheduling changes. As long as we can support the change, we will. If we cannot support the change, we will communicate that to the client in a timely manner.

If a client commits to a Late Notice Booking or Change without our confirmation, we reserve the right to refuse service.

Early Check-ins & Late Check-outs

For check-outs with same day turnovers, we cannot support any Late Check-outs or Early Check-ins. Clients may request Early Check-ins or Late Check-outs if there is not a same day turnover. We require clients to receive confirmation from our operations team before committing to the guests. As long as we can support the request, we will. If we cannot support the request, we will communicate that to the client in a timely manner.

If a client commits to a Late Check-out or Early Check-in without our confirmation, we reserve the right to refuse service or charge applicable fees.

Unapproved Late Check-outs

If a guest fails to check-out at the agreed upon check-out time, we will charge the Client a $25 fee for every 15 minutes that our team needs to wait for the unit to be vacated. It will be the responsibility of the Client to recoup these costs with the guest.

Deep Cleans

We require units to receive 1-2 deep cleans per year. Deep Cleans are typically performed in June, leading up to the summer season, and Januaray, following the festive season. Timings for Deep Cleans will be coordinated with unit owners/representatives. The Deep Cleaning requirement may only be waived if our team inspects the unit and concludes it is not necessary.

Extended Stays

For units that have extended stays of 4 weeks or more, we require a Deep Clean to be performed to restore the unit. The Deep Cleaning requirement may only be waived if our team inspects the unit and concludes it is not necessary.

Post Construction Cleaning

Client’s are responsible to notify us when repairs or renovation work is performed in the unit. If the work performed resulted in dust or debris, the subsequent cleaning will be subject to additional charges of $60 or more.

Guest Communications

Kihei Clean is not an on-island-contact. Unless specifically agreed to, unit guests should not receive contact information for Kihei Clean. Guests should be directed to communicate through the Client or their designated contact.

Service Suspension or Termination

Our engagement is an at-will relationship. Either party may suspend or terminate the service at any time by providing written notice. In the event of suspension or termination, the Client will have ownership of all linens present in the unit at the effective date. Clients will be responsible to make payment for any and all balances stemming from completed services.
